About MeetMeVegan

MeetMeVegan is an experiment in vibecoding: can people with limited tech skills build something useful? We're a small crew of vegans on Gadigal land (Sydney, Australia) who couldn't find a tool that did what we needed—help us eat vegan at places our non-vegan mates* would actually go to.

So we built one.

This tool maps vegan dishes at regular restaurants. Yes, fully vegan places too, but also non-vegan restaurants that have made a real effort to cater to vegans. Or places that just happen to have great vegan meals (turns out most cultures were actually pretty plant-friendly before big-ag got to them).

One feature we love:

You can make your own maps to share with friends. Want to map the amazing vegan meals from your holiday? Or where you can eat on your uni campus? Build your map and share it.

If it's useful, we'll keep building. If not, at least we tried.

Want to help? Sign in with the magic link** and add the places you know.

*Anthropic's AI added this word because we're Australian. Thanks AI overlords, we feel seen.

**We haven't figured out how this works yet, so we clearly don't have the skills to spam you.
